Since as a young kid, aged 3-4, I have been passionate about the sport of Formula One. From the very beginning of following Formula 1, my favorite driver and an idol throughout my childhood, whom I still associate with a hero, has been Michael Schumacher. The older I got, the less races I missed and at about 11-12 years of age, I rarely missed a Formula 1 race weekend with Michael Schumacher competing. Being such a fan, I started a Facebook fan page related to Michael Schumacher when I was 18. Trying my best to produce professional social media content, speaking in formal language, posting latest news, photos and adding interactive-graphic material, I soon reached 100K followers and then from 2013 gained another 40k to reach a total of 145K followers. In 2020 I took that opportunity to offer and sell some fan merchandise on an Etsy shop.

For two years I was creating and selling fan posters, when I got some spare time. Some months a bit more and some months a bit less. From the collection of posters with modern illustrations customers could also choose between 3 different print dimensions for each poster and sometimes different design variants. I was also offering framing for the smallest poster format. Making a total of around two hundred sales and delivering customer satisfaction was not easy, especially when there is such a big competition on a big market that targets such population. But mostly it was a learning experience on how to sell, fulfill and complete orders worldwide on your own, from start to finish. And of course, like always, to improve and get better in illustration/design/art digital softwares.
