Spontaneous logo design for an imaginary brand called PingoArts. The logo design was one amongst various tasks for a study class at University. Designing the logo was first task during the process of a branding project for your imaginary business.
The logo was designed spontanously while I was drawing an “a” letter on a piece of paper. I wanted my imaginary business to have “arts” word in the name. While sketching without any ideas at hand, a shape of a penguin look-alike popped up from the letter “a” form that I was working around. Thus, I set the name to PingoArts.
The logo mark designed around the letter “a” gives the impression of non-formal, non-serious style. It gives a playful look, hence the fitting word “Pingo” in the name. Including the penguin logo mark, the complete identity design in the end gives an impression of business of which values are associated with playfulness, youth, non-formal style, etc.
